In facebook we have talked about another case. I want to add the conversation here.
What if the ending row is 9 9 9 9 ?
Show My IQ Correct Answer! What if the end row was 9 9 9 9 ?
Stoyan Kiryazov Should be J
Show My IQ Is it possible the answer to be P?
Stoyan Kiryazov An answer of "P" is equally valid to an answer of "J" since we do not have any additional information
Show My IQ I think particularly letters P and J have more logic than other letters.
If all the letters have the same logic, you wouldn’t propose J as answer and by my side – P as answer.
So if we imagine the alphabet letters written on the outer edge of a circle – Z will be next to A, and following the same method we will receive 36-26=10, therefore the missing letter is J. Good logic!
Now if we imagine the alphabet letters to represent an elastic rope – the rope will be pulled out to the maximum the letter Z, then it’s going backward. So Z=26,Y=27,X=28, … , P=36.
Just wanted to share that as another possible solution – it’s behaving like the Newton’s cradle in vacuum condition. Infinite going forward and backward to its extreme limits.
